A Safe Campus Built on Respect

Sunder Devi Nursing College is committed to providing every student with a safe, respectful and supportive environment for learning. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited across the college campus, hostel, transportation, clinical training locations and all activities associated with SDNC.
Every student has the right to study without fear, humiliation, intimidation, discrimination or harassment. Conduct described as a friendly introduction or college tradition may still constitute ragging when it causes discomfort, emotional pressure, embarrassment or harm to another student.
SDNC encourages respectful interaction between senior and junior students. Healthy communication, cooperation and mentorship should help new students adjust to college life without affecting their dignity, privacy or personal freedom.
Students who experience or witness ragging should report the incident immediately to the Principal, Anti-Ragging Committee, faculty member, hostel warden or another designated authority. Reports will be handled promptly, sensitively and with appropriate confidentiality.
The college supports awareness programmes, student orientation, campus monitoring and parent communication to prevent ragging. Any reported incident will be examined and addressed according to institutional policy, applicable UGC anti-ragging regulations and current legal requirements.
